Building Information Modeling is an intelligent models-based digital representation and collaboration process that allows Architects, Engineers, Construction professionals, and other stakeholders to plan, design, construct, and facilitate the management of buildings and infrastructure projects more efficiently and effectively. It has become an industry standard in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) sector.
In BIM, a 3D digital model of the building or project is created, which serves as a central point for information for the project, normally maintained by the architect.
The T.H.E. team is BIM Level 2 compliant which is what is required for any government projects in the UK.
Tender Documentation and Evaluations
At T.H.E., our Chartered Architects will prepare all tender drawings and specifications for you, collaborating with our expert quantity surveyor consultants if Bills of Quantities (BOQ) are required. We will put the documentation out to contractors, handle any queries and assess all contractor bids on your behalf, giving our recommendation for award of contract for your project to ensure everything is above board before the construction phase starts.
Management of Contracts
Our team of Architects are more than happy to act on your behalf as the contract administrator on your project, administering any contracts on behalf of both parties, you the client and the contractor, during the construction process. This includes periodic inspections with our meticulous attention to detail and interim certificates and evaluation.
Equally, if you have an outsourced project management team, we will assist them in every way possible as part of our collaborative and client-centred approach.
Management of Sign Off Documentation
From inspection reports to final payment documentation, our experienced team will handle the management of the sign off documentation of your project for you to ensure a hassle-free and efficient process.
Completion certification
Our expert team of Architects can issue the completion certificate to certify that the construction work of your project has been completed and complies with the approved plans, specifications and regulations. This certification serves as evidence that the project has reached its final stage and is ready for use, occupancy or handover, giving you peace of mind.
